LOUGH BELTRA LODGE

HOW TO GET HERE:

 

Lough Beltra Lodge is located in the townland of Glenhest, just north of Lough Beltra. 

 

If you enter Eircode F28 HH67 as your destination in Google Maps, you can send the resulting turn-by-turn directions to your mobile phone. You can also view each turn and intersection on your computer's monitor.

 

COMING FROM THE EAST:

If coming from the east or south through Castlebar, take R311 (the Newport Road) to R312 where you turn right and drive past Glenisland and Lough Beltra to a crossroads with a white schoolhouse on the far right corner, where you turn left. Then, cross over the Crumpaun River's stone bridge and past the GAA pitch, taking the first road to the right – and follow the signs to the lodge.

 

COMING FROM THE NORTH:

If coming from the north via Sligo, take N59 through Ballina to Crossmolina and turn left onto R315. Turn right onto R316 just south of Enniscoe and drive down to its junction with R312. Turn left on R312 and drive to the second road to the right (watch for the schoolhouse on the corner), where you'll take a right. Cross over the Crumpaun River's stone bridge and past the GAA pitch, taking the first road to the right – and follow the signs to the lodge. 

 

COMING FROM NEWPORT:

If coming from Newport, take R317 just north of main street to Glenhest. Once you pass the Glenhest church on the left, watch for a sign "To Beltra" and take that road to the right for two km and turn left – and follow the signs. If you come to the Crumpaun bridge, you went too far.
